Events

Whether you have come to one of our breakfasts, or our Thrive conference, any event you attend is an opportunity to connect, exchange stories, and recharge your batteries.

Everyone is welcome!

Thrive Conference

The Thrive Conference was born out of a desire to see God move in the people we live amongst every day - the places where 90% of us spend 90% of our working lives. In 2019 we ran our inaugural conference in Aberdeen. In 2020 we took Thrive Conference online when we had over 2500 people engage!

Keep an eye out for future dates when we will look to gather people from across the nation!

Join us at the City Table- June 2023

Thrive Scotland

We are delighted to welcome Ken Janke, Pastor and Co-founder of City Table, USA.

Many will recall Ken was one of our 'Thrive Conference' keynote speakers in Aberdeen in 2019 and online in 2020. He is visiting Scotland in June and we are delighted to host him and have him share the incredible impact of his ministry in his new home of Colorado, USA and across Europe.

Thrive Scotland is partnering with City Table to prepare a series of tables, across three cities in Scotland in the summer of 2023.

Ken brings together people around the concept of a table – “a place where relational and social capital can be brought together to leverage relational assets for the common good”.

He sees five key elements of an open table, one which is willing to embrace change and growth:

• Relationships

• Shared purpose

• Safe spaces

• Transformation and reconciliation

• Local determination and ownership

ReWork (in partnership with LICC & Navigators)

Along with our partners LICC and The Navigators we ran 'ReWork', a one-day event aiming to inspire young adults in their first decade of work to connect their discipleship to what they do, and to see how they can thrive in their jobs as God intended – making a difference with him through what they do, not just around it.

In combination with inspiring content from the front, ReWork connects young adults with experienced Christian mentors from matching sectors. Time with mentors to process and apply the learning from the front gives ReWork a dynamic edge.

Our first ReWork was on Saturday 19 November 2022 10am at Grassmarket Community Project, Edinburgh.

We plan to run further ReWork events across Scotland in 2023, to hear more please click on the link below.
